Simon Cowell can now add another accolade to his list: world record holder.

The Got Talent franchise, which Cowell co-created with his Syco Entertainment production company along with Freemantle Media, has been named the world’s most successful reality TV format by Guinness World Records, according to the Hollywood Reporter, which reports that the format has been seen in 58 territories worldwide.

“I am very proud that Got Talent is a homegrown British show,” said Cowell in a statement. “We owe its success to a group of very talented producers all over the world who have made this happen. And of course amazing talent.”

Britain’s Got Talent, which Cowell has judged for its entire run, is about to kick off its eighth season this month. , the longest running iteration of the franchise, will debut its ninth season this summer. It’s been one of the highest rated summer shows, with the latest season attracting over 11 million viewers, according to Guinness World Records’ website.
