After the recent news of Pharrell Williams, who is replacing Cee Lo Green, joining the cast of NBC's hit show The Voice speculation began regarding which coaches would be staying for season seven and who would be leaving the talent competition.
It has now been announced that No Doubt singer, Gwen Stefani, is in talks to join The Voice season seven. Stefani would be taking over for Cristina Aguilera, who announced back in February that she was pregnant with her second child, TMZ reported.
It has been speculated but not confirmed that Blake Shelton and Adam Levine would be returning to coach another season. Levine and Shelton have been coaches on every season of The Voice to date, The Hollywood Reporter detailed.
Some big name musical talent has already been feature on The Voice, such as country superstar Miranda Lambert, who is married to coach Shelton, Chris Martin of Coldplay and Aloe Blacc.
NBC has not commented or confirmed that Aguilera would be replaced.
