No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani is rumored to be joining the panel of coaches in the television series The Voice.

A source spoke to E! News, saying that the singer’s deal to join the coaching panel for the NBC singing competition is nearly completed.

Stefani would be replacing fellow pop star, Christina Aguileria, who is currently pregnant, for the upcoming seventh season on the show. Stefani, who is a mother of three, would also be joining another new-coming coach on the series, Pharrell Williams, who was chosen to take over CeeLo Green’s chair.

According to E! News, NBC had no comment on the rumors while filming begins in June.

According to TMZ, Stefani is expecting to have a one-year deal that producers began working on since news of Aguilera’s pregnancy.

NBC had wanted Aguilera to stay, however she was “having a difficult time already and ultimately bowed out.”
