J.K. Rowling new miniseries, Casual Vacancy, is set to air on HBO.

The Casual Vacancy has sold more than six million copies since 2012. In the book, there is a war in the town with all sides prepared to fight. According to Deadline, the mini series will focus on Pagford, an English village with a cobbled market square and abbey. As can be expected from Rowling’s work, there are squabbles in schoolrooms and around town.

Rowling, known for the success of the Harry Potter movies, is moving forward with the new project. Casual Vacancy is a co-production of HBO and the BBC. For the mini-series, she is now teaming with a division of Time Warner, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Rowling is set to executive produce the series with her Bronte Film and Television production company that she runs with her producing partner, Neil Blair. The miniseries is written by Sarah Phelps, known for her work with Great Expectations. Production begins this summer in South West England.
