Ice Cube is not happy that he and Kevin Hart lost MTV Movie Awards’ Best Onscreen Duo honor to the late Paul Walker and his Fast & Furious 6 co-star Vin Diesel.
He said in a recent interview that Walker only won out of “sympathy.”
"We was robbed. Shame on you, MTV,” he told USA Today.
It was actually the fans who chose who won, but nonetheless, Ice Cube stands by the fact he thinks they deserved the win the most.
"We had the best chemistry of everybody nominated, for us not to win was crazy," he said. "We were the best onscreen duo, period."
It seems as if the rapper turned actor just wasn’t into the show overall, as he got up halfway through and left, E! Online reports.
He explained, "I just wasn't into it. I have been going in and out of these things for 25 years. If you ain't into it, why torture yourself? As soon as you get bored, get up and leave."
Ride Along was No. 1 at the box office for three consecutive weeks. Walker died in November 2013.
