Jimmy Kimmel recently stopped by Ford Nation, the YouTube show Toronto mayor Rob Ford and his brother, Toronto city councilor Doug, host, to chat about everything from bobble head dolls to birthday parties.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Mayor Ford is set to release a new bobble head doll to boost his reelection campaign, and remarked that he has one in the works with Kimmel’s likeness outfitted in the black suit/red tie getup that Ford wore on Kimmel’s show last month. During his interview with the Ford brothers, Kimmel cheekily wore the same outfit.
“When Rob came to visit, he was wearing a similar outfit. I admired the look, and I’m dressing like this regularly now,” said Kimmel.
The Fords were very insistent that Kimmel make the trip up to Toronto, making the request three different times, as Global News reports. Doug even make the comment that the fate of Jimmy Kimmel Live! rested upon Rob’s reelection.
“So when are you going to get your backside up here to save your job and start door-knocking to make sure this guy keeps you going every single night?” said Doug.
The interview ended with Rob making the observation that both Doug and Kimmel share November birthdays, and that Kimmel should come up and have a big celebration, especially since Doug would be turning 50 this year, but with the caveat that Kimmel would have to stay at Rob’s house.
“I’m not just planning on sleeping at Rob’s place. Rob, I’m planning on sleeping with you, and your wife,” said Kimmel.
