Quarterback Johnny Manziel just finished taking the Wonderlic exam, which is designed to test the intelligence of NFL draft prospects. They get 12 minutes to answer 50 questions and can score up to 50, which has only been achieved by former Cincinnati Bengals punter Pat McInally.
According to ESPN, Manziel scored a 32 on his exam. This is above average for current starting quarterbacks, as they have averaged a score of 29.5 on the Wonderlic.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith has the highest score with 40. Andrew Luck and Colin Kaepernick each scored a 37 on their exams, which marks the highest score among quarterbacks in the last three years.
Manziel's score is the highest among all quarterback prospects in the 2014 draft class, according to USA Today. Blake Bortles was not far behind with a 28. Teddy Bridgewater finished with a 20.
Manziel will look to take advantage of his high score and get drafted first overall by the Houston Texans, but Todd McShay and Mel Kiper of ESPN each have him going eighth overall to the Minnesota Vikings.
