Former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel awaits the NFL draft along with other quarterback prospects, and he expects to be taken early in the first round. His next visit will be with the Oakland Raiders for two days. The Raiders hold the No. 5 overall pick.

The Raiders went 4-12 last season with Terrelle Pryor and Matt McGloin at quarterback as reported by NBC Sports.

They traded for Matt Schaub from the Houston Texans. Schaub has been named the starter for the Raiders, but he is only signed for one year. The Raiders are expected to possibly draft Manziel and groom him as their quarterback of the future.

According to ESPN, Manziel recently visited the New England Patriots. He is ranked as the No. 20 overall prospect by Todd McShay.

It may difficult for the Raiders to get the opportunity to draft Manziel however, since he is expected by many analysts to be drafted first overall by the Texans or third overall by the Jaguars.
