Jon Cryer is working a memoir called Candid.
According to the Associated Press, the New American Library said Cryer “will talk about his 30-year career that skyrocketed after he was known as "Duckie," Molly Ringwald's friend in Pretty in Pink.
The memoir could delve into how he feels about his former co-star, Charlie Sheen. Cryer starred with Sheen during the difficult years when they were taping the show, Two and a Half Men. Sheen was plagued by alleged substance abuse problem and engaged in a fight with show creator, Chuck Lorre, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Readers don’t yet know exactly what details will be revealed, but the actor will write about friendships and relationships, and talk about his experiences in the entertainment industry over 30 years. The book will also feature anecdotes about stamp collecting and monetary policy.
Cryer has also made appearances in Dharma & Greg and Partners. Additional films include Ass Backwards and Stay Cool.
Cryer’s memoir is due out next Spring. The book will be released on Penguin’s New American Library imprint.
