Justin Bieber is close to coming to a plea deal with prosecutors in his Miami DUI case. He will get the DUI, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license charges dropped if he pleads no contest to reckless driving.

In addition, the “Never Say Never” singer, 20, would have to be on probation for up to one year. Somehow, his lawyers have negotiated that he would not have to submit to random drug testing because he would never agree to a plea deal if that stipulation were involved.

TMZ reports that both sides are in such final stages of negotiations that the deal could be finalized within the next few days.

Moreover, in another legal case, Bieber faces having to pay more in potential damages to the paparazzo suing him for alleged battery. The photographer, Jeffrey Binion’s lawyer Mark DiCowden said in a hearing on Tuesday that paying the damages could prevent future incidents like this one from happening.

DiCowden noted that a minimum of 11 similar assaults involving Bieber, his bodyguard and the paparazzi have taken place within the past two years.
