Comedian Larry the Cable Guy cancelled New Mexico and Utah shows after injuring himself on a movie set.

The Associated Press reports that Larry The Cable Guy, real name Daniel Whitney, was forced to cancel a few shows after falling and injuring himself on a Vancouver, British Columbia film set.

Economic development administrator of Lea County, Lyn Edwards, announced that Whitney will not be able to perform at the April 5 show in New Mexico. He has also cancelled some Utah shows.

Whitney was taken to the hospial after his fall, and is expected to make a full recovery.

The Norfolk Daily News reports that Whitney is scheduled to perform at the Pinnacle Bank Arena later this month.

The University of Nebraska fraternity, Alpha Gamma Rho, has organized the "Git-R-Done for Team Jack Foundation."

Whitney created the organization, Git-R-Done, which raises money for numerous charities.

The Team Jack Foundation is an organization that started in Nebraska, which supports and funds research on treating and identifying brain cancer genetic mutations.

Whitney is scheduled to perform as Larry the Cable Guy on April 25 at 8 p.m. As of right now, there is no news on if this performance has also been cancelled.
