Lindsay Lohan’s mom, Dina Lohan, has plead guilty to driving drunk and speeding before her September arrest in Long Island, New York.
Nassau County district attorney spokesman Paul Leonard said as part of the plea deal she will have her license taken away. She will also likely be sentenced to undergo 100 hours of community service for the crime, as well as pay $3,000 in fines and attend a drunken driver program and victim impact session. Her car will also have a device that tests blood alcohol levels before it can start.
Lohan was driving 77 mph in a 55 mph zone when she got pulled over for speeding.
"Considering this is the first day of Passover, we were very pleased to receive an offer which would resolve her criminal case in Nassau County with a commitment of no jail, no probation, and that afforded her the opportunity to resume her driving privileges shortly. She felt this was a great beginning for the Holy week and she was happy with that result,” her lawyer, Mark Heller, told CNN.
Her sentencing will take place on June 3.
