Maya Rudolph, who is well known for her work on Saturday Night Live will soon be back on NBC. It has been announced that Rudolph will be returning to the network on May 19 at 10 p.m with her own show The Maya Rudolph Show.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Rudolph will be staring on the variety show along with some of her famous co-stars, including, Kristen Bell, Andy Samberg, Fred Armisen, Craig Robinson, Sean Hayes, and Chris Parnell.
Lorne Michaels who has worked with Rudolph on SNL will be the executive producer on the one-hour special, The New York Daily News added.
The show will also feature Janelle Monáe as the musical guest and Raphael Saaddiq will be the main bandleader for the show.
The special will double as a pilot for a continuing series.
Rudolph was featured on SNL for over 11 years and was also seen on the recent sitcom Up All Night.
