After being released from the hospital last Thursday, Miley Cyrus is feeling much better and speaking out for the first time about her hospital stay.
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his morning show, On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Cyrus gave an update about her health and discussed the “scary” ordeal.
“So basically I had gotten sick while I was on the road,” she said. “On the sixth day, I just woke up … it was so scary … I had basically been poisoning myself with something I didn’t know I was really scary allergic to,” she went on to say, referring to the medication prescribed to her.
The “Adore You” singer explained that she was most upset about being unable to tour and having to postpone her shows.
“I would feel good … [and ask doctors] ‘Can I go? Can I get back on the stage?’ That was the hardest part,” she said. “It was insane. I was begging the doctors, ‘Let me out to go do the show!’ It was basically no way.”
Cyrus confirmed that the European leg of her tour will resume on Friday, May 2. According to US Weekly, she has added multiple show dates in August to make up for what she missed.
"I should be all good … it can happen for 5-27 days … so it can come back within those 27 days but I've been very good,” she said.
