This week Miley Cyrus saw another increase on the Billboard charts, this time on the social 50 charts. Following the conclusion of her Canada leg of the Bangerz tour and heading to New York City, Cyrus once again took over Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer is now No. 3 on the charts compared to last week when she came in seventh place, Billboard reported.

The Billboard social charts tracks activities on the most popular artists across a variety of platforms including YouTube, Vevo, Facebook, Twitter, SoundCloud, Wikipedia, Myspace and Instagram.

Cyrus also had a viral hit last week when she posted an April Fool's clip on her Instagram account. The video featured Avril Lavigne in which the two fought over who was the most famous star in Canada. Lavigne got a bump on the social charts as a result of the video. She rose from 36-18 on the charts.

Cyrus is never afraid to shock her fans and the world. Her antics ranges from racy images online of herself to her over the top Bangerz tour. USA Today reported that Cyrus also posted a topless image of herself on her Instagram account.
