Miley Cyrus has opened up about her health scare in an interview with Ryan Seacrest after spending a week in the hospital and having to postpone some Bangerz tour dates.
During a phone interview for On Air with Ryan Seacrest, the 21-year-old said it was “scary” that she had been severely allergic to a medication she was taking for the flu and didn’t even know it.
"I was on this medicine for five days and everything was all good and on the sixth day, I just woke up … it was so scary … I had basically been poisoning myself with something I didn’t know I was really scary allergic to and it was so scary,” she said, Us Weekly reports. “I couldn't breathe and my skin—everything—was going insane.”
She went on to say “I was crying because I was so bored,” and to occupy her time she watched movies like Clueless and The Shining. She even did some online shopping while on pain medication and “made some very questionable choices on what I bought!"
EW reports the rescheduled dates for those that she missed while in the hospital have now been released.
