NBC has announced that Rosemary's Baby will be airing in May, just in time for sweeps. The special movie event will air on Sunday, May 11 and Thursday, May 15. It will air from 9-11 p.m. both days. NBC made the announcement yesterday.
Rosemary's Baby will star Zoe Saldana and Patrick J, Adams as the young married couple. This couple was originally played by Mia Farrow and John Cassavetes back in the 1968 feature film, USA Today reported.
Variety added that NBC has often had trouble with Thursday evenings in the spring and that Rosemary's Baby the finale will be going up against the season finale of Grey's Anatomy. Ratings for Grey's are expected to be high because of Sandra Oh leaving the show.
NBC had great success when they aired The Sound of Music, which stared Carrie Underwood in the famous role of Maria Von Trapp, in the ratings and is hoping to do that again with this special and exclusive TV event.
