With rumors swirling around of who is going to replace the late night TV host, Neil Patrick Harris says he thinks it may be too much work.
In an interview with the New York Observer, Harris said about taking David Letterman’s late night spot “hasn’t even been a conversation at all” because he is too involved with his new Broadway play he is currently starring in.
“It would be an asinine amount of work,” he said about the rumor that he and several other celebs are in talks.
When Letterman announced last week that he was retiring, fans were stunned and upset by the news. However, when rumors began to surface that Neil Patrick Harris could possibly take over the late night veteran, Harris didn’t necessarily say no.
“I’m a big fan of CBS and Les’s, so who knows?” he said about the network and CBS chief, Lesbie Moonves.
