Backstreet Boy Nick Carter married his longtime girlfriend Lauren Kitt in Santa Barbara on Saturday.
The couple was married at sunset in a ceremony that overlooked the ocean at the Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara, according to People. They exchanged handwritten vows under an altar made of white roses and hydrangeas.
“At the end of the ceremony they shared the longest wedding kiss I've ever seen. A full minute later they were still kissing,” an insider told US Weekly. “They seem crazy in love and thrilled to be married. You could feel the love bursting out of them.”
Carter proposed to Kitt in February 2013, during a vacation in the Florida Keys. He popped the question with a giant 7-carat diamond, after two weeks of reportedly holding the ring in his pocket.
Guests at the wedding included Backstreet Boys alum AJ McLean, Howie Dorough and Brian Littrell. McLean’s daughter, Ava, took the role of flower girl.
Unfortunately, Nick’s younger brother, Aaron Carter was missing from the reception. Due to mechanical problems with his plane from Washington D.C., he was unable to make it in time.
