The late Paul Walker’s brother, Cody, is remembering his brother in a new interview promoting the Fast & Furious star’s charity Reach Out WorldWide, which he now serves as brand manager for.
Cody, who is stepping in to complete the final scenes of Fast & Furious 7 for his brother along with their other brother Caleb Walker, said his death still feels surreal.
“Right now, a whole lot of time has not gone by yet. It still doesn't feel real, because sometimes, working in this industry, making films, he'd be away from his family three, four, six months at a time, you know,” he explained in a phone interview Thursday, Fox News reports. “And my only interaction would be a phone call. So, I know it's going to take a while."
Earlier this month, a message from Fast & Furious 7’s Facebook page let fans know that Walker’s brothers would be filling in for his final scenes. The message said having the brothers on-set “has made us all feel that Paul is with us too.”
When asked about his involvement in the film, Cody would only say "I can't talk about that."
Walker died on Nov. 30 in a tragic car accident at the age of 40.
