Paula Deen has announced plans for a live tour called Paula Deen Live!, which will feature 20 nationwide stops. Paula Deen Ventures announced the plans on Monday.

The tour will feature live cooking demonstrations, as well as feature Deen and her husband Michael Groover sharing personal stories. Each tour stop will last an hour and a half.

According to Miami New Times, Paula Deen Live! will kick off on June 21 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Only seven of the dates have been announced on her website so far, with the next 13 dates being announced soon.

Deen will be opening up a new restaurant at the location of her first tour stop in Pigeon Forge called Paula Deen's Family Kitchen, which will open this summer.

“When I step out onstage, it's the most amazing feeling, y'all. I feel so alive when I walk on that stage, and I love that kind of adrenaline rush. By going on tour, I can see all my amazing fans in different cities across the United States,” she told Miami New Times’ Short Order. "We are going to play musical chairs and the dating game with the audience. That's the excitement of it all -- my fans get to be a part of the show. I'll also invite some folks in the audience to come onstage and cook with me."

It will soon be a year since Deen was fired from the Food Network and her empire and reputation were threatened. She was embroiled in a racial scandal, which featured her admitting on oath that she had used the “N-word.”
