Peaches Geldof, the 25-year-old daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, has reportedly died of unexplained circumstances, according to U.K. police.
Kent police told The BBC that they were called to a home Monday afternoon because someone was concerned for the health of a woman. South East Coast Ambulance Service later declared the woman, who turned out to be Geldof, dead.
“At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and sudden,” Kent police said in a statement to the BBC.
According to The Mirror, Geldof and her husband, Thomas Cohen, appeared happy in Instagram posts. They share two young children - Astala, 1; and Phaedra, who turns 1 later this month. Some of her Instagram posts include Geldof showing off Phaedra as a proud mother, cradling her baby.
Geldof has long been a writer and television contributor, first writing for Elle when she was only 15. She wrote for the Telegraph and the Guardian and hosted OMG! with Peaches Geldof on ITV2.
Before marrying Cohen, she was briefly married to musician Max Drummey.
Geldof’s father is a world renowned musician, best known for organizing the iconic charity concert Live Aid and has continued to promote charitable causes.
