Singer Pharrell Williams celebrated turning 41 years old by having a birthday party with a SpongeBob SquarePants theme.

E! Online reports that Pharrell who turned 41 on Saturday, April 5th celebrated by having a birthday party in New York City with many celebrities in attendance. Celebrities including Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Russell Simmons, Angela Simmons, Chanel Iman, Nicky Hilton, Josh Lucas and Soledad O' Brien all came out to help Williams celebrate his big day.

Other celebrities like Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke posted messages on Twitter wishing Williams a happy birthday.

Williams received an early birthday present when it was announced that he would be replacing Cee Lo Green as a judge on The Voice. The Wrap reveals that Williams will be joining the show when it comes back in the fall for it's seventh season. Before, becoming a judge on The Voice, Williams appeared as an adviser and last year along with Robin Thicke performed their hit song, "Blurred Lines'. The Voice's executive producer is happy to have Williams back. Burnett says,“I am thrilled to have Pharrell come back to ‘The Voice’ family, and this time … as a coach."
