The red-headed royal Prince Harry participated in the reopening of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park by playing with local school children on Friday afternoon.
According to Telegraph, the prince was joined by London Mayor Boris Johnson as part of a preemptive event before the park officially opens Saturday. The newly renovated facility has been closed since the 2012 Olympics, and is expected to become a popular tourist attraction.
Prince Harry said of the improvements, "It was fantastic the way it was anyway, but the amount of money that has been spent and the creativity as well, I think it's brought it to life.”
USA Today reports that the 29 year old British Captain has become a popular representative for the interests of the United Kingdom and Royal Family. The palace announced today that Prince Harry will travel to Estonia, Italy, Brazil, and Chile this summer as part of a good will tour to commemorate partnerships and strengthen international relations.
The government requested visits are being organized by the Foreign Office, and are expected to coincide with the Fifa World Cup, for which the prince is an avid fan.
