The Washington Redskins have added yet another big name to their roster. After adding controversial wide receiver DeSean Jackson to the roster after the Philadelphia Eagles chose to release him, the Redskins have just signed quarterback, Colt McCoy.

The Redskins are definitely beefing up their offense. As Robert Griffin III remains the starting quarterback, Washington wanted to make sure he was sufficiently backed up. McCoy joins Rex Grossman and Kirk Cousins who are also currently playing back-up to Griffin.

According to CBS Sports now that the Redskins have four quarterbacks the rumors are starting to fly. Grossman is the third string and is currently a free agent. But, there has been a lot of speculation about whether Cousins, the current second string, will be traded.

It will be interesting to see where McCoy fits into the group of quarterbacks. According to the Associated Press McCoy was selected by the Cleveland Browns in 2010 but after 21 starts his first two seasons he has remained a backup.
