Rosie O’Donnell has commented on Lindsay Lohan’s OWN docu-series Lindsay, calling it a “tragedy” on Twitter. OWN must be in agreement, since Oprah Winfrey’s network is reportedly going to cancel the low-rated show.

Lindsay was planned to be part of yet another comeback attempt for the troubled Lohan, showing Winfrey helping Lohan get her life back in order. While it wasn’t likely that the show would continue for a second season, poor ratings and low interest have reportedly ensured that it will be cancelled.

After the latest episode aired, O’Donnell took to Twitter to slam the show. “The Lindsay show is a tragedy - on every level - I hope one day she gets sober for real and watches these episodes - n sees what we all do,” the former View co-host wrote.

She seems to have a lot of followers who agree, as the tweet has been favorited 470 times.

While Lohan’s time on TV may be short-lived, O’Donnell is set to return. She was a guest host on The View for a week in January and will return to say goodbye to Barbara Walters. O’Donnell left the show in 2007 after butting heads with Elisabeth Hasselbeck over politics.
