Courteney Cox is gushing about her new boyfriend, Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid and he's returning the favor. The couple went public with their relationship in December 2013 at her Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston’s holiday party.
Cox, 49, posed for photos on the red carpet alongside McDaid, 37, at New York City's SVA Theatre for the premiere of her directorial debut Just Before I Go at the Tribeca Film Festival. McDaid and his band even wrote three songs for the film.
"He supports me in every way. He supports me creatively. He really believed in the movie...and not just because he likes me, though I know that helps,” she told Us Weekly.
McDaid even gushed about her, calling her the "most completely confident person I've ever met—at everything.”
He added, "She gets music. She gets art. She gets the way a scene gets constructed, the way dialogue works. And she puts it all together in her mind and then explains it to the world and makes movies that make people laugh and cry, squirm and jump, all those things."
Just Before I Go stars Kate Walsh, Olivia Thirlby, Missi Pyle, Seann William Scott, and Garret Dillahunt. When asked about working with Cox, McDaid gushed “We get to kiss between takes,” Daily News reports.
Cox was previously married to David Arquette for over a decade. They have a 9-year-old daughter, Coco, together.
