SundanceTV is set to co-produce the four-hour BBC miniseries One Child.

Deadline reported that One Child will focus on a Chinese woman who, after being raised by adoptive English parents, returns to China to help her birth mother. Katie Leung, who played Cho Chang in the Harry Potter franchise, is set to star. The miniseries was written by Guy Hibbert, known for Five Minutes of Heaven and Complicit.

This is the third collaboration between SundanceTV and BBC, Variety noted. The first co-production between the two was the Jane Campion-created Top of the Lake, which won Elizabeth Moss a Golden Globe. The upcoming series The Honourable Woman, starring Maggie Gyllenhaal, is another co-production between the two companies.

One Child is also the newest original series on SundanceTV’s busy 2014 schedule. In addition to The Honourable Woman, the network will also release season two of Rectify in June. Last month also marked the debut of another original series, Red Road.

One Child will film in London and Taiwan starting in May.
