A teaser clip of the seventh and final season of HBO’s True Blood is garnering some attention on Monday. The 35-second teaser shows tragedy striking the town of Bon Temps, as vampires and the Hep V virus have completely wiped it out.

“There’s no one left,” Sookie Stackhouse, played by Anna Paquin, says as she stands with Sam, Alcide, her brother Jason, and Andy.

It seems the focus for the last season will be dealing with the vampires wiping out their entire town and the government not doing anything about it.

Entertainment Weekly note when Season 6 ended, showrunners revealed the last season would return to the show’s roots and be entirely based on the small Louisiana town.

A previous teaser of the final season only showed gravestones of characters who have passed away. One last headstone "True Blood: 2008 - 2014."

Season 7 premiere on June 22.
