It looks like the troubled former football star Terrell Owens just can’t catch a break.
According to TMZ, the 40-year-old owes $244,391 in unpaid taxes from 2012.
In 2012, the free agent signed a try out deal with the Seattle Seahawks but was cut. Owens only made a little over $4,000. Owens had to have had another stream of income in 2012 to rack up his huge tax bill.
Owens has a history with Uncle Sam. Between 2205-2009, Owens owed more than $400,000 in back taxes. He paid that bill off last year notes Larry Brown Sports.
Along with his tax troubles, Owens is also dealing with a bitter divorce. Rachel Snider, his wife of several days, vowed last month that she is filing for alimony payments.
Snider also accused Owens for only marrying her to get a $2 million loan for a home.
Also less than two years ago, a judge ordered Owens to work at Goodwill store in Studio City after he missed child support payments notes TMZ.
Owens reps have yet to make a comment on his new tax troubles.
