The CW announced on Thursday that the network's summer schedule has been set, which includes the return of Beauty and The Beast along with the debut of two new comedies.

Starting on June 2, the romantic drama Beauty and The Beast will return to the CW. New episodes will air on Mondays after two episodes, one new and the other a repeat, of Whose Line Is It Anyway?. Then on Tuesdays, Famous in 12, a reality docuseries, will air ahead of a Supernatural repeat. Famous will premiere on June 3.

The two new half-hour comedies Backpackers and Seed will debut on July 14. The shows will air around episodes of Whose Line once Beauty wraps up its season run on Monday nights. On Wednesday's beginning on July 30, the new series Penn & Teller: Fool Us will air, followed by encores of Arrow.

The last new summer show, Masters of Illusion will premiere on Aug. 1 and air Fridays along with a single encore episode of Whose Line will air.

Backpackers stars Noah Reid and Dillon Casey as two friends, Ryan and Brandon, desperately searching for Ryan's fiancee in Europe. During the journey, Ryan's journal is found and posted online forcing him to track down the person who stole it.

Seed is the story of a slacker bartender who also donates his sperm. Adam Korson stars as Harry who finds himself dealing with three recipient families, such as lesbian couple, and upper-class family and a single woman who wants to be a mother.

Penn & Teller's new show has aspiring magicians performing before the duo, with the winner getting to perform on their Las Vegas show. Masters is hosted by Dean Cain and has a live studio audience watching magic tricks and illusions.
