Devout fundamentalists Independet Batists, Michele and Jim Bob Duggar, known for their TLC series 19 Kids and Counting, reveal their strict rules for courting – no holding hands and no kissing!
The family started its new season featuring the world of courting for their two daughters, Jessa, 20, and Jill, 22, according to Us Weekly.
"As far as our kids dating, we believe a lot of times if you're alone with the person, it can create desires that can kind of get stirred up, and you don't have any accountability, and [that] can kind of lead to some hanky panky," Jim Bob explained on the show.
The courting teens are allowed to give side hugs but must be chaperoned by a family member.
The Duggar daughters, Jana, Jill, Jessa and Jinger give fans an inside look to their lifestyle with their new book Growing Up Duggar: It’s All About Relationship, according to E! News.
The girls admit they take pride in their long hair because the Bible says, “a woman’s hair is her glory.”
Other revelations include they dress modestly in order to prevent guys from having “sensual desires,” are against premarital sex and believe popular culture contains things that “God considers wicked.”
