Choices determine how we live our lives. They can propel us, as well as, hold us back. Dr. Sylvia Greene works in a private practice and moved back to her home town, Tarrin’s Bay. Her choice helped her become a doctor, but that same choice left a seed of regret in her heart. The seed grew into an organized, meticulous, and calculated individual that is extremely concerned with how others perceive her. The need for control and an impeccable reputation stops her from living a full life.
After 18 years, Dr. Greene participates in an annual town event called the Wishing Festival. Her wish propelled her life forward, The January Wish is a novel about Sylvia Greene, Grace Forrester, and Mark Bastian. After the wish, Grace and Mark come to Tarrin’s Bay for their own secretive reason. Sylvia and Mark are held back by their pasts. Both are pushed forward by their relationship with Grace, as well as their connection. As there bonds grow, the internal conflict brought on by their choices add barriers to their new connections.
