In an unlikely friendship, Lindsey Vonn is reportedly good friends with her boyfriend Tiger Woods’ ex-wife, Elin Nordegren. Sources say Nordegren wanted to meet Vonn since she would be around her kids, and after they met they actually hit it off.
Woods and Nordegren, who got divorced in 2010 in the wake of a very public cheating scandal, have two children together; daughter Sam, 6, and son Charlie, 5.
"After meeting her, she found she actually liked her," a source told Us Weekly about the Swedish model. "You'd think it would be weird, but Elin loves Lindsey and they talk all the time. Elin likes that Lindsey is a strong woman."
Woods and Vonn took their relationship public last year, when they confirmed it in a Facebook post in March. “I guess it wasn't a well-kept secret but yes, I am dating Tiger Woods,” she wrote at the time.
The source continued to say they all went on vacation recently and Nordegren spent one-on-one time with Vonn.
“They laugh and talk like they have been girlfriends forever,” said the source.
