The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2014 could be the year with the most guest performers of all time, and we have Pharrell Williams to thank for most of them. Throughout the two weekends, artists who were never officially on the lineup stunned fans.

This year, Coachella streamed performances throughout the first weekend on its live YouTube channel. Even if you were there to see it in person, the live stream was beneficial because you could see the artists more closely and gain outlook on what the entire scene looked like. You could pause it if needed and watch right from your bed, creating a whole new experience for Coachella fans.

The second weekend of the festival broadcasted on AXS TV. This allowed viewers to watch the music on their big-screen televisions, record performances, and sit comfortably at home rather than in a crowd. You can actually see much more than you would if you were at the back of the crowd. It provided a neat and unique experience.

The 10 artists gathered on this countdown are just the start of the surprise appearances seen this year. Additional performers not mentioned on this list include Juicy J, Mary J. Blige, Nelly, 50 Cent, T.I. and more.

Without further ado, here are the top 10 best guest performers from Coachella Fest 2014.
