Chevelle is a rock band that formed in the mid 1990s and are based out of Chicago, Illinois. The band features lead singer and guitar Pete Loeffler, his brother Sam Loeffler who is on percussion and drums and Dean Bernardini who does back-up vocals and plays bass guitar for the band.
They debuted in 1999 with their first album Point #1 but it was their second album Wonder What's Next that dropped in 2002 that went platinum. They went on to release five more albums between 2004 and 2014, with their most recent album being released just several weeks ago.
Chevelle has been described hard rock and alternative metal. They have sold millions of copies in the United States and have been described as one of the best hard rock bands out there today. Many people like them because they have stayed true to their original sound and style. They are very appreciative of their fans support and are constantly touring so that everyone can see them and experience them live.

The interpretation for this song has been quite broad, but it seems to me like this song is about someone who is dealing with decisions they have made in their past and they aren’t sure if they were the right or the wrong decisions.

This was the second single released off the 2007 album Vena Sera. The video features a man working at his job who is constantly picked on by his boss and he comes up with a plan in order to get back at his boss.

This is the second single off the 2009 album Sci-Fi Crimes in which the song is talking about when the trio was in Dallas and lead singer Pete Loeffler's favorite PRS guitar and the band’s gear was stolen. It was eventually returned to the band once a man realized whose it was.

The first single off their 2004 album This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In) in which the song deals with someone close to the band who was misdiagnosed with Ritalin, which is what “Vitamin R” stands for in the song. This person became addicted to Ritalin and would do very strange things.

This is the first single off the 2011 album Hats Off to the Bull in which the band describes this song as being very angry. The band also states that it is in reference to many people being upset about being taken advantage of by Bernard Madoff and his major Ponzi scheme.

The song talks about frustration and anger, with the video taking place at an anger management seminar as well as the color red appearing throughout the video was well as the expression “seeing red”.

"Jars" is the first single off of their fifth album Sci-Fi Crimes which was released in 2009. The band confirmed that this song is literally a play on words. They said that the long is literally about taking the earth and putting into jars to “save it for later”.

This is the first single off the 2007 album Vena Sera and it is my favorite Chevelle song of all time. It is an intense song, one which focuses on lead singer Pete Loeffler discussing and expressing his feelings about losing someone close to him from an alcohol addiction.
