Easter is right around the corner and everyone is gearing up for the spring holiday. This means grocery shopping for the delicious baked ham, hours spent in the kitchen baking sweet treats, home decorating with festive spring decorations and gathering around the dinner table with loved ones.

Easter also means that the little ones will be coming to visit, and that means children running around the house. However, before the panic officially sets in, we have the Top 10 children activities to keep the youngsters busy.

These kid friendly activities range from baking, to crafts, to active activities that will keep the children busy and having fun.

These activities aren’t just for those below the age of 10. Anyone who is a kid at heart can join in on the fun and create memories with their friends and family. Who says the Easter Bunny is the only one who gets to bring all the joy this holiday?
[New page = Pin the Tail on the Bunny]

Number 10 on the list is a spin on the birthday classic: Pin the Tail on the Donkey. This game features different color cut-out bunnies with a missing tail. Children can take different colored cotton balls and match them to the coordinating colored bunny. If the participants are older, you can always create a giant cut-out bunny, give the blindfolded person a spin and see who pins the tail the best!

[New Page = Peep S'mores]

This sweet treat is a great after-dinner snack that you can share with the whole family! All you need is peeps, chocolate and graham crackers. You can roast or microwave the peeps, then put it together and you have a delicious (and colorful) dessert that will have the kids saying, "More please!"

[New Page = Easter Basket Bag]

Number 8 on the list only requires five things: a paper bag, ribbon, paper, felt or fabric and tissue paper or scrap paper. Put these five thing together and the kids can create their own Easter basket bag. This lets them be creative and also can be used for another activity that we will mention later in this list.

[New Page = Easter Masks]

This craft is a little more work but the result is amazing. These Easter masks will put the kids in the spring spirit. To have even more fun, you can set up a photo booth station and the kids (and adults) can go crazy taking cute pictures to celebrate the day.

[New Page = Bunny Ears]

With adult help, the kids can make their very own bunny ears. They will look adorable as they hop around the party in the Easter Sunday best.

[New Page = Sharpie Easter Eggs]

Coming in at number 5 on the list is sharpie easter eggs. You can keep an eye on the kids in one room as they sit and decorate their own eggs. This is a great craft if you have a group of kids with a high age range.

[New Page = Glow-in-the-Dark Easter Egg Hunt]

This is a spin on the classic Easter Egg Hunt and is a great alternative if you are having a night party. Place glow-in-the-dark sticks in individual plastic eggs and hide them when the sun sets. The kids - and adults - will have a blast finding them, and imagine how awesome your backyard will look.

[New Page = Easter Cookie Decorating]

Everyone loves cookies! Especially the little ones, so this is a perfect way for them to have fun while eating some sweet treats. All you have to do is bake plain sugar cookies and lay them out on a table, along with frosting and sprinkles.

[New Page = Easter Egg Dying]

This activity might be better for older kids or with the help of adults, but is still an Easter classic. Dying eggs is a great tradition and will get the kids to be creative while having fun. You can buy the dye at any craft store or drug store.

[New Page = The Classic Easter Egg Hunt]

Coming in at number 1 on our list of Top 10 Easter Activities for Children is the one and only Easter egg hunt. This is a great activity for children of all ages and is a great tradition. They can use the eggs they dyed (or drew on with sharpie) and place them in their Easter basket bag while they wear their bunny ears or masks. It's a great activity that will bring everyone together, and will create memories that will last for years to come.
