Craig Ferguson, host of The Late Late Show, has made the big announcement that he will be retiring from the CBS late-night television line-up. According to the Associated Press, Ferguson joked to fans, "CBS and I are not getting divorced, we are consciously uncoupling."
Since 2005, Ferguson has kept the audience laughing past 12:35 am. Maybe it’s his Scottish charm, maybe it’s the robot and skeleton sidekicks, but many fans who have been loyally tuning in are going to be sad to see Ferguson move on.
Musical guests are another reason The Late Late Show has been so much fun to watch. Bands maintained their sense of style while taking time to debut their newest music. Bands like Glasvegas, the Backstreet Boys, and Lyle Lovett kept the Craig Ferguson show in fine spirits.
