The warmer weather is approaching, and it’s a great time to be outdoors. As the April holidays approach, many are deciding the best way to spend Spring and the Easter holidays. Watch an Easter egg drop from a helicopter, try a sing-along, or go to the restaurant for the stars. Tourist areas across the country are providing great options for the holidays. From Easter egg hunts to horseback riding to Sunday brunch, you’ll be certain to find something great for the holidays.

10. Langham Place, Fifth Avenue is hosting a family sing-along brunch on Easter Sunday, hosted by acclaimed musician Tina deVaron. Chef David Vandenabeele is preparing a prix-fixe menu of holiday favorites, including Hot Cross Buns, Easter Deviled Eggs dyed for the occasion (see below); and Easter-themed versions of his special signature L’éclair (a lighter version of a traditional éclair made with croissant dough). In addition to Chef David’s holiday specialties, the menu also includes kid’s favorites. Belgian Waffles with house-made chocolate sauce and whipped cream as well as a Breakfast Pizza with tomato, sausage and mozzarella served on an English Muffin. It’s is scheduled every Sunday at 11:30 am from Easter, April 20 through Mother’s Day, May 11.

America’s oldest seaside resort is welcoming guests for its annual Easter fun and Spring Break celebrations. All are welcome to enjoy a delicious Easter brunch in the ballroom and participate in an egg hunt on Congress Hall’s lawn, a nod to the traditional White House egg roll in D.C.
The all American Easter traditions continue in 2014 as Congress Hall rings in spring with family fun. All aboard the Easter Express Train! Rides around Congress Hall will take place 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Easter festivities would not be complete without two Egg Hunts on the Grand Lawn. Afterwards, families can join in the fun of Lawn Games such as three-legged races and soccer. The Easter Bunny and Blue, the hotel’s blue pig mascot, will also be on hand to delight young and old and help hide the eggs!

6. Alabama's 32 miles of beachfront is home to a church that meets in the well-known beach bar, Flora-Bama. Situated on the Alabama-Florida state line, the bar welcomes hundreds, sometimes thousands of people to Worship on the Water, a non-denominational site of Las Vegas-based Central Christian Church. Fueled by the motto "no judgment zone," Pastor Jeremy Mount and his staff believe that Jesus sat with the messiest of people, and everyone has messes in their lives, so what better place to hold church services than in a bar?

During the Easter season, the church is set to host a Maundy Thursday service on April 17 on Flora-Bama's beachfront. On Sunday, April 20, Worship on the Water will host two Easter services in the outside tent. The services will also be broadcast indoors and on the Flora-Bama beachfront. In 2013, upwards of 2,500 beachgoers flooded Worship at the Water's Easter services.

4. At King’s Way United Methodist Church at 2401 S. Lone Pine Ave. in Springfield, MO, participants can enjoy a helicopter egg drop on Apr 13 at 3pm. Then, join the hunt for 12,000 candy-filled eggs. Other activities include crafts, games, prizes, and separate egg hunts for children age 2 and under. Activities include crafts, petting zoo, obstacle course, cookie decorating, and games. The trio of options, from downtown to Rancho Santa Fe, for the Easter holiday. Mr. A’s restaurant is offering an Easter Brunch in the afternoon in Banker’s Hill. The Westgate Hotel has a few different things going on including a champagne brunch on Sunday and an Easter Bunny tea, an event running from 2:30 -5:00 pm on April 18th and 19th. The kids will have an Easter egg hunt. At Mille Fleurs, there is a prix fixe brunch with a three course spread.
