Tracy Morgan has outwardly slammed Mayor de Blasio’s mission to ban the horse carriage industry in New York City, exclaiming that more attention should be paid to people, rather than the horses.

In an interview with The NY Daily News, Morgan, 45, noted that many people are at a constant struggle just to eat and live.

“I’ve still got family members living below the poverty line in New York,” Morgan said. “I’d rather deal with that.”

The Saturday Night Live star pointed out that the problem with the horse carriage issue is miniscule compared to that of his own family.
“I’ve got family members that are starving, so I’m not thinking about that,” he stated. “Those horses live better than some people. Not just black people, white people too.”

According to Fashion Times, the FBI is currently investigating Mayor de Blasio’s connection with the animal rights organization, NYCLASS. De Blasio reportedly attempted to sabotage his opponent, Christine Quinn’s campaign, with the help of NYCLASS.

De Blasio has since denied any allegations made towards him.
