Tracy Morgan is revealing he’s worried about his former 30 Rock co-star, Alec Baldwin, who has had a rough past year or so following multiple run-ins with paparazzi and getting fired from his MNSBC talk show.
In an interview with New York Times, Morgan, no stranger to off-screen controversy himself, said he’s concerned for Baldwin.
“He was concerned about the structure of my life, and now I’m concerned about the structure of his life,” he revealed.
Morgan added, “He’s getting fired from TV shows. He had about six fights since we left 30 Rock you know. I’m worried about him.”
Morgan also said he has “mellowed out” thanks to his 9-month old daughter. Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria, also welcomed a daughter, Carmen Gabriela, around the same time.
"Chill out, raise your family and enjoy your wife and your daughter,” Morgan said to Baldwin. “The paparazzi do what they do, man. They have a job too."
In February, Baldwin announced he would be dismissing all forms of “public life.”
"I loathe and despise the media in a way I did not think possible. Paparazzi today are part of a network that includes the Huffington Post and, much to my dismay, even NBC News, in their reliance on tabloid reporting,” he said as part of a 5,000-word essay in New York Magazine.
