The television series, Fargo, will air on Tuesday at 10PM.

The popular movie, from Joel and Ethan Coen was originally released in 1996. The film that takes place in the plains of Minnesota introduced us to great accents and an uncommon story.

There is a “mystique” about the film. “It’s definitely had some effect on how tourism is perceived,” said Mary Shellum, executive director of the Minnesota Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus, according to Fox News. “It lends a certain culture to our state that is sometimes good and sometimes bad.”

The television series of Fargo has a new cast, including Joey King as Greta Grimly, Martin Freeman as Lester Nygaard, Colin Hanks as Gus Grimly, and Allison Tolman as Molly Solverson. The series was written by Noah Hawley, according to the LA Times. It takes place on a narrow strip of a Minnesota highway. The television series also features Billy Bob Thornton as Lorne Malvo, a difficult man who seeks vengeance.
