The Chicago Bulls now have their backs against the wall after losing 98-89 to the Washington Wizards. They are now down 3-1 in their playoff series.

The Wizards coasted to victory, and the closest margin late in the game was eight points with two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

Nene Hilario was out for the Wizards due to a suspension for head-butting Jimmy Butler and grabbing his neck. Trevor Ariza took advantage of his expanded role by scoring 30 points, according to ESPN. This marks a career-high for him in playoff games. He shot 6-for-10 from the three-point line.

Bradley Beal also chipped in with 18 points and five rebounds. Marcin Gortat added 17 points, six rebounds and five assists. John Wall contributed a double-double with 15 points and 10 assists.

Taj Gibson led the Bulls with a career-high 32 points, according to the Chicago Tribune. He shot 13-for-16 from the field. Joakim Noah provided a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds.
