Even though they’ve been separated since 2012, Will Arnett has officially filed for divorce from Amy Poehler. He filed the papers in Los Angeles last week.
In the documents, filed on April 8, The Millers actor asked for joint legal and physical custody of their two sons; Archie and Abel, as well as visitation rights. Arnett and Poehler had been married for nearly 10 years before their split.
People reports this marks the second divorce for Arnett, who was previously married to Penelope Ann Miller, and the first for Poehler.
Both Arnett, 43, and Parks and Recreation star, Poehler, 42, have moved on from their split. Poehler started dating comedian Nick Kroll last year and Arnett has been linked to Billy Joel’s ex-wife Katie Lee.
Arnett and Poehler have worked together a few times in the past, appearing together in Blades of Glory as well as their respective shows Parks and Recreation and Arrested Development.
"I'm 43 and I've found my happiness – which is my kids," Arnett has said.
