Fox recently announced their plan to feature Grease Live, and, of course, this has people buzzing over who is going to play the coveted roles of the classic musical. Zac Efron revealed his feelings on playing the one-and-only Danny Zuko.

The Neighbors star exclusively revealed to E! News at the movie’s premier that he would be honored to play the bad-boy role.

“Those are big shoes to fill. I think I cam as close to it as you could in High School Musical,” he said. “To actually do that? Yeah, those are big shoes.”

The network announced the musical will premiere in 2015 after NBC’s Sound of Music Live! did so well.

This would be a perfect opportunity for Zac after fans found out he will not be in the new installation of Star Wars, according to ABC News.

Star Wars: Episode VII announced its cast Tuesday on the official Star Wars website by Lucasfilm and the Walt Disney Co.

Zac was rumored to be in talks for a role in the upcoming movie, according to Just Jared.

“I don’t know. I have no idea on that. I don’t know. There’s irons in the fire, so to speak. I don’t like to talk about anything too early because you know, it takes a while to get these things done right and who knows,” Zac said.
