Michael McKean has given word that he will be joining the cast of Better Call Saul.
It’s great to find a successful spin-off in the middle of all of the new television shows. Better Call Saul is the story of Saul Goodman, a criminal lawyer who is establishing an office in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The show is a spin-off of Breaking Bad. The series is executive produced by Breaking Bad’s Vince Gilligan, Peter Gould, and Thomas Schnauz with Sony Pictures Television and Gran Via Productions.
McKean is no stranger to sit-coms and feature length films. He is previously known for his work in This is Spinal Tap and Planes, Trains, & Automobiles. Perhaps most fans, though, will remember him as Lenny 'Leonard' Kosnowski in the popular sit-com, Laverne & Shirley.
McKean will be asked to hold his own against Bob Odenkirk, who plays Saul Goodman, according to MTV. Other actors will be returning to the small screen for the new series. Jonathan Banks will be appearing in the comedy, according to Deadine.
