AMC's latest pilot, Knifeman, will go into production in London shortly. The drama will star Tim Roth, who is known for his work on TV on the show Lie to Me will be returning to the small screen in this show based off of Wendy Moore's biography of 18th-century surgeon John Hunter.

Craig Zisk will be directing Knifeman for the AMC network.

The Hollywood Reporter added that Knifeman will be one of the largest TV shows to start production over in London.

Film London, which is one of the largest U.K. government backed agency tasked with growing London’s production industries expressed their excitement about the AMC drama coming across the pond. AMC is known for breakthrough shows like Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead and Mad Men.

Knifeman joins 20th Century Fox’s 24: Live Another Day, which was being shot in London as well. The hit drama is currently shooting in London for the past six months, Deadline reported. The project has already employed a core crew of 130, with over 500 temporary crew and a U.K. cast of approximately 150 plus thousands of extra.
