Luck was not with Ben Affleck this weekend in Las Vegas. The director and actor was banned from playing blackjack at the Hard Rock casino in Las Vegas.
CNN reported that even though rumors had been flying that Affleck was "booted" from the table that was not the case. Security asked Affleck to the leave the table because he was "too good at the game," according to sources close to the actor.
Affleck is still allowed to play other games at the casino, just not blackjack.
The source who announced the news explained that it was unclear if casino security accused Affleck of card counting, which is technically not illegal but is frowned upon by casinos, and often leads to a ban from gambling areas.
The upcoming star of Superman vs. Batman was on a weekend getaway in Vegas with his wife, Jennifer Garner, UPI added.
Affleck is currently in pre-production on the upcoming D.C. Comic/Warner Bros. picture Superman vs. Batman which he will be playing Bruce Wayne/Batman.
