AMC's Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul will be filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

"We welcome this incredible production team back to the state," said Nick Maniatis, director of the New Mexico film office, according to the Associated Press. "They have proven to be excellent partners with the city of Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico."

Mayor Richard Berry said the city welcomes back Sony Pictures TV, which produces the show, and AMC. The show is produced by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, according to Albuquerque Business First.

Berry had kind words to say about Gilligan and his production team, as he welcomed the crew to Albuquerque. It looks like the show will be good for business and industry in Albuquerque, since the production will employ 75 to 90 New Mexico crew members.

Better Call Saul is a spin-off of Breaking Bad. The series follows Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk), an attorney who defends drug dealers and those injured in traffic accidents. Goodman thinks he can get anyone out of legal trouble. The show also features Jonathan Banks and Michael McKean.

The network has launched bettercallsaul.com, a website about the fictional lawyer, to raise interest in the show.
