Tennis player Andy Murray and actor David Krumholtz are celebrating their birthdays today.
Andy Murray, 27
Scottish tennis player Andy Murray turns 27 today. Murray is currently ranked World No. 6 and British No. 1. He is the current holder of the Wimbledon Championships singles title, and is the 2012 Olympic tennis men's singles champion. At the 2012 US Open, Murray became the first British player since 1977 to win a Grand Slam singles tournament. This title makes him the only British male to become a Grand Slam singles champion during the Open Era.
In July 2013, Murray won the 2013 Wimbledon Championships, becoming the first British man to do so in 77 years. Murray was voted the BBC Sports Personality of the Year in December 2013. Murray faced Roger Federer at the 2012 Olympic Games, defeating him in straight sets to win the gold medal in the men's singles final, becoming the first British singles champion in over 100 years. He also won a silver medal in 2012 mixed doubles, playing with Laura Robson. Murray is the only man in history to have won Olympic Gold and the US Open in the same calendar year.
Murray is in a relationship with Kim Sears, daughter of coach Nigel Sears, who is regularly seen attending his matches.

David Krumholtz, 36
Actor David Krumholtz turns 36 today. Krumholtz began acting at age 13, appearing in the Broadway production of Conversations with My Father. He made his film debut in Life with Mikey in 1993. He then went on to star in The Santa Clause 1 & 2, Slums of Beverly Hills, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Harold & Kumar series, Superbad, Mr. Popper's Penguins and This Is the End.
Krumholtz also had a successful career on many television series' including Monty, Chicago Suns, The Closer, The Trouble with Normal, The Lyon's Den, Numbers, The Playboy Club, Partners and Men at Work.
Krumholtz is married to actress Vanessa Britting. In July 2011, Krumholtz was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, and began a radioactive iodine treatment five months later. At the end of January 2012, Krumholtz was diagnosed cancer-free.
